Professional environments present a unique set of challenges for autistic and ADHD people. From communication to reframing "self-sabotage," we'll talk about the ups and downs of showing up as ourselves at work.

8 sessions of psychoeducation, goal tracking, and peer support

Week 1

What works for us at work

We’ll discuss past work experiences and elements we enjoyed. Introduce how we’ll track goals over the 8 workshop sessions.

Week 3

Nervous system regulation

Understanding and caring for our nervous systems gives us the flexibility to manage stress and avoid burnout.

Week 5

Workplace communication

Autism is defined by communication differences, and ADHDers often experience similar challenges. What now?

Week 7

Demand avoidance

Neurodivergent people experience more frequent demand avoidance. We’ll talk about what it is, how to manage it, and how to use it as a compass in self-regulation.

Week 2

Personal values & Sharing goals

Values-aligned work is essential for career longevity. What values do we take into our work, and which values do we share?

Week 4

Executive function strengths & challenges

Neurodivergent people have big highs and lows with executive function. Knowing yours helps target support and manage energy.

Week 6

Rejection Sensitivity

Rejection sensitive dysphoria and neurodivergent rejection sensitivity are basically standard issue with ADHD and autism.

Week 8

Neurodivergent identity and disclosure

How to define and disclose autism and ADHD at work and beyond. We’ll wrap up our goal tracking and reflect on what we’ve learned as a group.
