Groups

A small cohort, a set number of weeks, on a particular question.

Groups are five people, meeting weekly on video. The container is small on purpose. You’ll know the others by week three. Open one below to see the full plan.

What we’ll actually do

Week 1

Naming the thing

We each describe, plainly, what’s not working — without solving.

Week 3

What is executive function, really

A short, honest reframe. With sources.

Week 5

Systems that survive a hard week

Not productivity systems. Surviving systems.

Week 7

What you want, when you stop coping

The harder question. We sit with it.

Week 2

How your brain actually does the day

Mapping current patterns. No grades, no scores.

Week 4

Demand, capacity, and the gap between

Where most of the suffering happens.

Week 6

What to tell the people around you

Disclosure, accommodations, language.

Week 8

Where we go from here

Closing. Notes for the next season. Optional follow-up call.

If, when, and how much.

Week 2

The cost ledger

Where the energy actually goes.

Week 4

Sensory & social load

The practical mechanics underneath the performance.

What we’ll actually do

Week 1

What PDA is, plainly

A shared, accurate picture to start from.

Week 3

Lowering the demand

Demand, threat, and the avoidance loop.

Week 5

School & the wider world

Advocacy, accommodations, picking battles.

Week 2

Why the usual tools backfire

Demand, threat, and the avoidance loop.

Week 4

Your own nervous system

You can’t co-regulate from empty.

Week 6

A plan that fits your kid

Pulling it together. Closing.

A note on fit

Groups are not for everyone, and certainly not for everyone at every stage. If the idea of being in a video room with four strangers is the actual barrier — not just the usual nerves — start with 1:1 and we can revisit. There’s no rush.
